It has been brought to our attention that another town watch group/organization has been formed using a similar name to our organization.  This group known as “Fox Chase Eyes Townwatch,” uses social media (Facebook) to register members and exchange information.  To avoid confusion, be informed that this group/organization has no affiliation with the Fox Chase Town Watch and operates as its own separate entity.

The Fox Chase Town Watch operates as a certified, non-profit, 501(c)(3), community based, volunteer organization with an elected board of officers.  All authorized information is strictly controlled and posted on our official website, which can only be viewed at  No other person(s) or entities are authorized to speak or issue information on behalf of Fox Chase Town Watch, our organization.  Any views or opinions expressed by other groups or non-members, do not represent the views or opinions of the Fox Chase Town Watch and its board members.

Unlike the ease of joining a Facebook group, the membership process to join the Fox Chase Town Watch requires the completing of an application, which then is subject to back ground checks and reviewed for approval by our board of elected officers.  Upon successful completion of this process, new members are then provided with formal training using the guidelines issued by the City of Philadelphia, Town Watch Integrated Services.  Only those individuals who have completed this process are considered official members of our organization.
